Our Core Values
Love: According to the Bible, love is a selfless, unselfish, unconditional caring for others that reflects God's love for all people. It is not only a feeling. According to Jesus' teachings in Matthew 22:37–39, the greatest commandment is to love God with all of your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. It's about prioritizing other people and looking out for their welfare, even at one's own expense.
Joy: According to the Bible, joy is an enduring, deep inner happiness that is independent of external circumstances. Its foundation is the understanding of God's fidelity and presence. According to the Bible, believers should "rejoice in the Lord always" (Philippians 4:4), which expresses happiness derived from knowing that God loves them and will save them no matter what happens in the outside world.
Peace: Biblical peace results from putting one's confidence in God and is characterized by wholeness, harmony, and contentment rather than just the absence of anger. Known as the "Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6), Jesus provides peace that is beyond comprehension (Philippians 4:7). It entails remaining composed in the face of adversity and resting on God's promises.
Forbearance: According to the Bible, patience is the ability to bear adversity, delays, or suffering without becoming discouraged or losing hope. It displays faith in the wisdom and timing of God. The Bible commands believers to bear with one another in love (Ephesians 4:2) and to be "slow to anger" (James 1:19).
Kindness: Being kind to others is having empathy, being giving, and taking care of them. It entails behaving kind and compassionately. According to Ephesians 4:32, Christians have to have a soft heart and forgive one another as God has forgiven them.
Goodness: Biblical definitions of goodness include moral righteousness and carrying out one's duties in God's sight. It reflects the goodness and righteousness of God by attempting to do good to others. It is the responsibility of believers to "overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21) and to be "zealous for good works" (Titus 2:14).
Faithfulness: Being faithful means having integrity, loyalty, and dependability. It entails unwavering dedication to God, other people, and one's obligations. According to the Bible, God consistently keeps His word (Lamentations 3:22–23). One's who keep faith are expected to do the same.
Self-control: The capacity to manage one's wants, feelings, and behavior in accordance with God's will is known as self-control. To avoid sinful actions and live in conformity with God's objectives, it requires discipline and control. "Live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives" is what the Bible commands believers to do (Titus 2:12).
